The primary goal of the MeatFreed project was to design and develop a user-friendly, engaging, and visually appealing community-based application that connects individuals interested in or following a plant-based lifestyle with restaurants offering plant-based food options.
The challenge faced by many people who follow or are curious about a plant-based lifestyle is the difficulty in discovering and connecting with restaurants that offer plant-based food options. Additionally, there is a need for a dedicated platform that allows like-minded individuals to share their experiences, recommendations, and build a supportive community.
As the lead designer for MeatFreed, I took full responsibility for the application's UI/UX design until the minimal viable product (MVP) phase, focusing on creating a seamless and intuitive user experience. I crafted the entire structure, user flow, and final design of the application, ensuring it met the needs of the target audience. By conducting thorough research and analysis, I was able to identify key features and functionalities that catered to the specific requirements of the plant-based community. The result was an innovative and visually compelling application that effectively connects users with plant-based restaurants and fosters a thriving community of plant-based lifestyle enthusiasts. My work on the project until the MVP stage laid a solid foundation for the continued development and success of the MeatFreed application.

I believe it's crucial for a website to have a responsive, fluid and flexible layout which adjusts according to screen size. I always create interfaces with usability in mind, and responsive web design has an important role because it offers an optimized user experience on any device.
